The weakness of that last two parter (I really liked part one, mind you) was why I want to give it another season. It more or less deposited us back into S4 and I'm not comfortable with the show ending that way.

Cost cutting started in S3. Apparently, prior to that, Harmon was reinvesting his pay into making the sets look better, paying for licensing, location shoots, etc. In S3, Harmon bought a house and apologized to fans because that meant the show would look cheaper.

Also, the implication I got about the gas leak was that Chang was affected first because he was living in the ventilation, which would mean that it is a slow process. If they ever opted to make a full plot of it, remember that the cult like heating and air conditioning repair was dealing with heating. And the old dean

I think they refuted that slightly by having the bit about Troy being captured by pirates. That was their way of saying, "We aren't done with the character yet even if Donald is done with the show."

That may be the hook for Season 5. Hickey was great but he wasn't our POV character and he was part of the same world as everyone else on the show (even retroactively since he was technically at Greendale in S1-3). I think a proper re-pilot might actually have the outsider as POV character at least for the first

In my head canon, the gas leak probably started as a slow drizzle with 3.5 when Shirley and Andre got back together. Then somebody knocked the pipe open.

We're in Schrodinger's Timeline.

Give me your hands. Show me the door. I cannot stand to wait anymore. Somebody said, "Be what you'll be." We could be old and cold and dead on the sea. But I love you more than words can say.

Also, anyone who's read Todd's TV reviews knows he'd rather talk about anything other than television.

What I'd be curious about are the dealmakers or dealbreakers that don't reflect your personal tastes. I have not seen Amelie or every John Hughes film but I've dated and chatted with enough women who have to see those as pluses.

Big Groucho Marx fan, huh?

I never assumed the film would be for cinemas. I figured we were talking TV movie.

Reverse G.I.Jeff with Basic Sandwich and this is my ranking, in reverse.

I'd be up for him and Fillion both returning.

I felt like they had last week but the revival of Jeff/Annie, talk of holidays, and Abed's "That's totally canon" (shades of "We made paintball cool again") made me feel like we were regressing backwards.

I know people point to British shows and say "13 is enough" but in my opinion British shows don't typically reinvent themselves twice a year and have showrunners who can stick with developing a premise. Pramface may not be Shakespeare but it's consistently pretty funny and well acted and sticks to one premise a year.

Jim Rash should get a TV Willy Wonka-ish show on Adult Swim by Harmon and Dino.

"And since it seems unlikely either Hickey or Duncan will be a part of season six, it will be interesting to see what the show comes up with to fill that void all over again."

The idea that there's a difference between crack and cocaine is mostly trumped up lies boil down to race and class prejudice and to load prisons with poor people and minorities.

It's supposed to be BOTH because it's rooted in Jungian psychotherapy.
