I agree. This loss wasn’t a result of his ground game being poor. But he’s displayed an inability to handle a fighter with a ground game. And he’s never fought a fighter with a world class ground game.

Sage Northcutt and Paige VanZant are very bad at fighting. Neither one has any idea how to use proper technique to defend against any sort of ground attack. The UFC needs to stop trying to push them as viable champions. It’s fucking painful.

Thankfully, as a Host he can just be patched up and put on the next card.
