@Patrick Hogan: I should add, I'm logging in with Facebook Connect, and I have this problem on all Gawker sites.

Here's a poser: How come I can't log in on the Lifehacker main page. On multiple browsers and multiple computers, this is always the case. It just hangs. If I log in on an article page, it works fine.
Nice adding the mobile wallpapers! Although be warned, the Mario one is a definite resource hog. I keep it on my phone for times when I want to show off.
I had to go through this when Facebook detected a login to my account from Belarus. Bully for them for noticing that it wasn't Iowa.
@Ignignokt: Restrained and minimal seems to be a big part of Google design. It was practically the mission statement behind Chrome.
@kasakka: Mmost landlords I've had would not be okay with that extensive work, especially painting the walls.
Document the entire apartment the day you move in with photos and video. I've had some good landlords, but it's the bad ones that ruin things for everybody.
You don't see many World War II games any more for the same reason you don't see many World War II movies anymore, there aren't much in the way of new visions being brought to the table.
@jw: I feel like mainstream websites aren't promoting it as much as they used to, but I don't think it's going anywhere.
I asked this in the wallpaper thread, thought I might get some better response here.
@caincha: I'm glad it's not just me. I'm all for reusing stuff as much as possible, but inhaling rendered animal fat is a bridge too far.

Someone tell me if I'm wrong, but this sounds like it would smell really disgusting.
What browser is that in the fourth screenshot?
Extreme confidence not tempered in courtesy.
@rebeldevil: I turned 21 shortly after moving to Pennsylvania from New York. I figured acquiring some celebratory libations would be as easy as a trip down to the grocery store.
@mike_311: I really don't think that's entirely fair. This has been a very heavy iOS week, but I don't think anyone could accuse Lifehacker of ignoring Android.
I think this is a great thing to do if you're a repeat customer, but for one time or quick purchases, being polite is probably better than reading someone's name off their nametag.
Are they sure about the Babylon 5 part? Black Star is a pretty esoteric part of the Earth-Minbar War backstory, and is common-enough sounding to be from something else.
I really like the Wallpaper Wednesday feature. It would be nice if you could put up some suggestions of good Android live wallpapers, it's hard to find good ones amid the chaos of the Android Market.
