I love the little touch where he can somehow see Fleabag’s little asides to the audience. Like he is the only supporting character that has ever been able to hack into the lead’s internal monologue.

In all these really stupid fan-fiction stories, are the characters still acting according to what the series has told us/shown us they are like?

“and I could see him mentoring Robin in the ways of all flesh - enjoying snails and oysters that sort of thing."

She has previously shown that she doesn’t need someone else to be her moral compass. She has shown mercy, or helped the downtrodden, occasionally when it went against what her advisors suggested. She has been shown to often start with a destructive decision, knowing it will get her what she wants, but will cause lots

“other than all the times she wanted to burn king’s landing but was talked out of it by advisors?”

WHERE IS JESSICA HYDE?

Maybe “seek out” is a strong way of putting it. Might be one of those semi-social chats like you might have with a co-worker “Anything nice planned for the weekend?” or “are you another one going to Dave’s party?”, which morphs into “I don’t have anyone to go with” and leads on to a conversation from there.

Then Ewan said “This little one isn’t worth the trouble. Here, let me buy you something”. Then he chopped off Russell Crowe’s arm and went back to chatting in the bar.

“So when you watch the rapes on “Games of Throne”, does that mean you have the potential of beoming a rapist yourself?”

Correct. But a monarch (if they play the game) is careful to be seen to be above partisan politics. Which allows for the people with actual power to defer to/rule on behalf of someone else without being able to take the piss. Although they can say “The People want me to outlaw chocolate!” if some people actually voted

It’s true to her character. Dany has been raised to be a royal, if not the actual heir to the throne (that was her idiot brother). A royal upbringing means not wearing your heart on your sleeve or displaying vulgar emotions.

During most of that time away from family protection, her character was alternately:

There’s still 4 episodes to go. Don’t abandon all hope yet!

I disagree. If it was pics of adults, no matter what they are doing, you are right. This guy butts out and takes it to his grave (or better still, forgets it as none of his business).

Yep, I am sure there are large numbers of priests, headmasters, coaches, and God knows who else who would not fit Dan’s description, but DEFINITELY acted on their urges.

Lord Tarly, I have news.”

I’d argue he has stayed consistent in his TV character. Rigid adherence to the Rules and Duty is central to his outlook, Duty above all.

It isn’t a mystery; central to Stannis’ character is that he always Follows The Rules, even if no-one else does. There was no way that he would allow Renly to take the throne, even as a figurehead, because Renly is the younger brother.

It’s right up there with “Frankenstein” .

“Fine. They’re now “Unobtainiots”.”
