maybe, but a situation like this week, the team basically admitted that he is in the seat because of his wallet and not his driving ability. which means, if his talent was a little less and his wallet a little bigger, he would still have a ride. would he still have a ride, though, if his talent was a little more and

and I like the 1%er aspect of the sport. that is what initially attracted me to motorsport, because I like rich guy things. the problem is the guys the who own those backmarkers don't act enough like rich guys when they've got their hands out panhandling from their own drivers.

though as I watch Free Practice now, I at least like hearing Hobbs and Matchett ripping Marussia and the concept of paid drivers in general and saying it casts a bad light on F1. I feel like people in the sport gloss over that way too much.

Honda, now with more LeBaron

its unfortunate that this is really the ugly side of racing. Its not just F1. its all of racing. I keep dreaming about a time when sponsorship money comes flooding back in and TV ratings go through the roof and the best talent get the seats they deserve. but, its unlikely to see that in any racing league again, ever.

I will not try that!

oh, how boner-inducing. as a side note I miss V-10's

welll, I don't really consider a 10 hour drive to Canada my location.

well, I am only from New England, and I am only concerned about my needs!

New England needs so much more rally

touche sir

any time an American drives an open wheel racer/raises awareness about open wheel racing is a good thing

cuz DTM

For me, I would much prefer the Ford with the blacked-out grille over the Lincoln. I would say the same for most of the others as well. But then, I am kinda fully opposed to the blind rebadging that Lincoln does and likely won't pay attention until they offer us something 'different'.

is it nicer looking than the Edge, though?

and not greyed?! CELEBRATORY DAY DRINKING!!!

I think McConaughey is as good a spokesman as anyone out there, but he doesn't exactly scream 'Lincoln'. a cool guy driving a non-cool car, though, still doesn't work. they need to inject a little bit of that coolness in their product line too.

so agreed. as a city driver, I need torques to have fun

I would star this, but can't because its broken. yet another victory for the trolls.

Definitely worth a curiosity test drive....definitely not worth 30k
