i can't speak for obey the toaster, but i've been reading a lot of leguin's short stories lately and really enjoying them. she's very good at building worlds, and i like how she shows characters who aren't good or evil, they're just following such vastly different rules that they can't comprehend each other as real.

maybe one day i'll try it, but i've got no regrets right now

a combination of that and the fact that i just hate and am stressed the fuck out by the whole serial killer genre, a lot.

i'm just going to go and follow every show that it's possible to follow so that i'll always have some of those friendly red numbers waiting for me when i log in

what i learned from this list is that i've missed a lot of the best tv of 2013, and that's ok, because i still have lots of exciting things to find! i'm going to start watching orphan black. i think i'm almost ready.
