Trump is preaching to the right audience to absorb his bullshit. I posted this in another thread, but it bears repeating.

It is almost impressive how he exists in a world of absolute non-truths. It’s not enough for him to lie, he has to say the absolute opposite of the truth. Trump is a walking, talking negation symbol.

Yeah, I’m thoroughly sick of the whole “We just need to sit down and cooperate with the Republicans in Congress!” thing because they’ve proven since 2001 (if not earlier) that they’re not interested in anything but scorched earth policies.

Trump’s hardcore supporters are perfectly capable of setting aside reality in their support, especially so long as Fox keeps up the propaganda. Maybe there’s a slim chance of Fox turning away from them, but I doubt it. They’ve pretty much hitched their wagon to Trump and aren’t showing any sign of changing their mind.

Jesus, the desperation these people are exhibiting is incredible. They’ve got everything, the power, their cheering hoards, a majority in the senate and a Senate Leader who doesn’t hesitate to set aside law and tradition to get what he wants, a stacked Supreme Court and they’re still running around like ants after…

Don’t wish ill on either of those guys but boyyyy would I love it if we could fast forward to her being the frontrunner.
