I think alot of us are seeing the current prices as a sign of times to come... sure, prices might dip again..... but between inflation and the transition to electric causing reduced volume, the writing is on the wall, and it’s just a matter of time before we in the US will be paying $8~10/gallon.... the days of $1~$2…

at $5/gallon..... the tundra gets roungly 4.6 miles/dollar.... at $0.30/kwh, the lightning gets roughly 8.1 miles/dollar.

I think it’s more like “Well it’s time to replace my aging car, since I am going to be in the market anyway I would prefer an EV.”
