I personally like Dodges marketing for being dumb and light hearted. Cars should be fun! The only problem I see is that, in personal experience, anybody driving a V6 Challenger/Charger already drives in the ‘never lift’ mentality regardless of traffic or stop lights.. they don’t need encouraging.

Hellcat all the things.

Honestly I totally prefer automakers going wild, gauche, tacky, overdone, crass, or cheesy to boring.

So it’s America, condensed into one tasty morsel?

God, this whole thing was more just sad than amusing or entertaining. Sad sack guy yelling out ‘I’m sorry’ in broken English, the wife going “no mercy” (lady, come on), then the cops throwing him around all over an Amazon package? Yeah, I know, his responsibility and choice to steal, but just a bleak, sad scene all

Negligent homicide is, in fact, a crime.

I can almost guarantee this dude knows someone which helped him get out of this, just like that kid. Fuck texas tbh

This thing is simultaneously neat as hell and no dice as fuck.

A terrifying proportion did it *twice*.

Approximately 40% of the country that voted for Trump are idiots.

The idiot ended up hitting people with a 2+ tonne metal object whilst trying to harm them in a different manner. I don’t see why charging this person is at all a question.

I feel your pain. I had a 3800 V6 do the same to me about 200 miles from my destination while driving through North Carolina :(

Remember, this is nice price or no dice, not “do I like this particular car or not”, which is what I see in the comments mostly.

The filthy rich and their spawn are not “able to learn and be a better person.” They have been taught their entire lifetime that us poors are nothing of import. We are disposable. We are trash. They think in terms like “I can kill as many people as I like by poisoning their environment and only pay a small fine,” or,

We’re not corrupt, we're just completely incompetent and shouldn't be anywhere near positions of authority.  Also, I was lying about the not being corrupt part."

The problem is that economics drives the boat, as it were. If the US decided to entirely cut imports from China by building all local supplies, then competitors in other countries would undercut US prices by continuing to buy from China. To succeed all one needs is a planet-wide embargo of all trade with China. And

Yeah, if a literal massacre of 20 six and seven year old children wasn’t enough to impact gun legislation then no amount of vehicular carnage would move the needle either.

My driving test involved turning right out of the DMV lot, turning right five more times (I literally drove around the DMV, then back into the lot), then parallel parking in a space big enough for a battleship. That was it. I didn’t even have to show I knew how to turn left.

A 200hp car can do 116 as well. This isn’t about the horsepower, but more about the idiot doing 116 in a 30. More bureaucratic red tape because somebody didn’t follow the current laws isn’t going to change with new laws.
