I never managed to beat Majora's Mask the first go around on the 64 (damn that pirate fortress) so I'll be indulging for my birthday on Saturday and picking up a new 3DS along with MM and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. I'm going to try and fit as much gameplaying as possible between the hellish amount of lab work and…
And see, here I always thought people were calling me DUFF because of my love of anal sex… (Is DUFF even a real moniker?)
I looked at my PSN account the other day and realized I didn't have any platinum trophies and I silently wondered why it made me feel so disappointed. Probably because I spend way too much time playing games and have nothing to show for it.
I wish I could do that, but my brain is very susceptible to "shiny!, shiny!, new!, new!" or a good deal and that's how I end up with only about %50 of my Steam catalog actually having more than 1 hour of playtime. I don't think I've only gotten 100% on like, four games in my entire life.
They mostly come out at night dancing….mostly.
Yeah, BPRD and Hellboy have a big, shared mythology that can be kind of daunting. If you want the absolute minimum to read I would read at least the Hellboy: The Storm and The Fury trade and start with the BPRD: Plague of Frogs library collection. But really all the stories are so good and none of these include…
Best Homer quote (When asked to give up on a crazy sugar scheme by Marge): "Never, Marge. Never. I can't live the button-down life like you. I want
it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles.
Sure, I might offend a few of the bluenoses with my cocky stride and
musky odors - oh, I'll never be…
Simpsons needs famous faces!
Hellboy and Locke & Key were what really got me into comic books. Superheroes are fun and all, but I think that there is a lot of power in stories that don't rely on static archetypes and aren't beholden to their parent company's media aspirations.
If you want some fairly shocking content, Child of God has it in spades.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me nineteen times, well… let's get married!
I need to add "Climb the Blackwall" to my list of DA:I relationship euphemisms.
I mean it's not the worst. The price for each game is reasonable and the selection keeps growing. Part of me just feels affronted at a portable game being stuck on a non-portable system. But, I'm sure I'll cave eventually and get Advance Wars.
I loved Mario vs Donkey Kong when I had my GBA. It is a really good puzzle game.
According to Nintendo/internet rumors emulating the GBA games on the DS can only be done on a case by case basis with some extensive tweaking, so my dream of being able to replay some of my old favorites on the 3DS is probably not going to…
D) The memes (but really, robot dog)
I couldn't agree more on the Virtual Console. I'm hoping with the fancier processor in the new 3DS, Nintendo will have the ability to add SNES games at least. I'm kind of disappointed that it looks like GBA games will probably never show up.
I've finished up Dragon Age: Inquisition and other than a super lackluster final battle (it really could've been way more exciting than that) I really enjoyed the time I poured into it.
Sorry I missed your baseball game yesterday, Internet. Your mother says you did a real great job!
