Anyone who says this is a good idea isn't looking at the entire picture. God help the poor indie developer who spends months making their XBLA game only to have it sell and review poorly because it targets a niche market or whatever.

@sirspankalot: You've clearly played very little of the CnC series. Generals, by the way, was a huge departure from the rest of the series in terms of gameplay. And those Generals haters are fail, stop living in the past guys :P

My favourite PC game EVER. Anyone who is yet to experience it should get this the second it becomes available. Such an under-appreciated game..

Oh it's simple economics, if a good has an increase in price, consumers will purchase the substitute good. Ie, fuck you Activision (after news of GH4 pricing..)

I'm absolutely PUMPED for Left 4 Dead, I'll end up having to get it on the 360 and PC so I can play 4 player split screen as well as enjoy PC online play..

It's Blizzard. The game will be incredibly scalable and will be rock solid on any system.

I don't think it'll include more than the DLC - but geez. Money grabbing or what. Retailing a two year old game at a 40 USD price point is absurd.

@AndrewG009: FYI.. Gears was not an artistically beautiful game. Technically beautiful - yes. Nothing else.

Localisation changes? Oh, the 5 minutes they spend changing the region lock on the disc to a different one before mass production.

My 50 year old aunt clocked over 30,000 Freecell games on her 486 running Windows 95. I still have the system somewhere, I should take a screenshot of the stats window someday :)

An MMO on the Nintendo DS would be absolute sex.

Quite frankly - who cares. There are ways to make it look good regardless of resolution. Call of Duty 4 was an excellent example of this.
