Sadly, I was going to pre-order as well. I was going to give this a chance on a whim that it might get better as the game progressed, and since they added expert difficulty options.

Eidos Montreal made both yeah, but Deus Ex HR and this new Thief game were apparently developed by different devs internally. The team that is still working on Deus Ex games is doing just that, assigned to and still working on their Deus Ex titles.

Jeez, I've only started playing Thief 1 and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I predicted the new Thief 4 would be linear and less of a masterpiece, that seems to be the trend with games these days. More cutscenes, less level design, all linear, like Bioshock Infinite and others.

How many times does this need to be explained? Thief 1 and 2 are nothing like Dishonored. People need to buy the 3 Thief game pack on Steam.

Well one thing thats honestly irked me about most FF's now is when they include the english voices. I wish they would make all JRPG's International Versions with the option to select the japanese voice and the english voice. I find that the original japanese voices in their games tend to fit better for the character.

Note: There are still no family trees to speak of in Rome 2, and new generals still die of old age pretty fast - and new generals automatically teleport to your armies. Basically Rome 2 lost all its character building and strategic depth from the original.

I never played the early Thiefs either, but I bought and have been playing them this year. I don't know what you mean by clunky, they play just fine.
