They forced our 8th grade class to sing it during the Persian Gulf War. This song and footage of guided misses blowing shit up shown by Air Force guys visiting our school changed how I saw the world. 

It’s the worst fucking song to ever make it onto tape and the fact that Don McLean is a wife-beating shitbag confirms that everything about its existence is terrible.

I couldn’t be any more god-damned sick of that fucking song.

That song was annoying when it came out 50 years ago and it’s even more annoying now. At least the boomers got to listen to it when they were all on acid.

Personally I think both the Trail Boss and the RST trim with everything color matched both look decent once I saw them in person. The LT trim with the chrome is still pretty bad though.

The Custom Trail Boss is the best looking Silverado, IMO. 

I’m bummed Alonso isn’t in the 500, but at the same time, it was a little arrogant of McLaren to think they could just SHOW UP to Indy and expect to compete.
