I played Warcraft since WC2 and still play WoW until now and also love to play on both sides, but in my opinion the horde as a whole concept was always supposed to be evil. Sure Blizzard tried to make it seem sometimes differently so gamers feel better for themselfs, like we see now horde players really needed that.
