Yeah, #3 is definitely a winner as far as the headlight level.  And really, I don’t mind the look of these at all.  It’s just when I look at, say the Lyriq all I see are squinty lights, triangle piece, trapezoidal piece...just not much visual differentiation.  But I guess the Cadillac’s...uh...grille lights up, so

Sweet -- I hadn’t noticed that at all!  Thanks for the call-out!

1. Is there a specific reason it’s bigger outside but smaller inside than the regular Bolt? Battery space? Suspension room?

Agreed!  If I were to get a non-full size truck today, it would be between a long bed Colorado/Canyon or long bed Frontier.  I’m glad to see that they kept that option.

A Motorcraft oil filter on a Mopar product?

Is that a quirk, a feature, or both?

Jack Jones: Just as good as Sinatra — you won’t notice the difference.

The unified credit covers both the estate and gift tax regimes; there is no separation of it between the two. I unfortunately am not Oprah’s heir, but if she personally gives me a gift above $12k it still reduces her lifetime exemption today for both estate and gift tax purposes since there is only one $11.8mm

Yes and no.  Above $12k/$24k you’ll start to eat into your lifetime exemption ($11.58mm last time I checked), so while you’d still have to file a gift tax return, nothing would be due today on a $25k gift unless you’ve already burned through your lifetime exemption. The $25k would come into play again when you die and

If I drive a ‘78-’87 GM A/G body sedan how many percentage points of effectiveness do I need to knock off?  I’m thinking like 50-60.

It suddenly dawned on me that GM is missing out on a great opportunity here. They need something to compete with this...

I’ve always been partial to the old Georgia ones with the peach gradient. The South Carolina one I had was pretty good too - better than what came immediately before or after.

Thank you.  I hate to be “that guy,” but all I see is Fiat 500L with the XT6/Escalade front.

Buick had vents/openings on the front fender called “portholes.”

I don’t get it -- why would you add two alternators underneath the car like that?

“You guys are always complaining about panel gaps; this was the easiest solution.”

Beep beep! Have you signed up for the newsletter yet?

Look at the shear size of that thing!

This. Not gonna lie, I did pretty well at my last company when we got bought out and the various stock programs I was part of got cashed out. (I’m middle-upper management, not a C-suite person.) But before we were sold, it was all restricted stock — it was mine, but I couldn’t do anything with it except hold onto it

Me too.  I owned a 2014 Mustang for a while, and on one business trip was given a Camaro SS with the V-8.  (Sadly it was raining out, so I was too timid to really “test” it.)  I had heard all about the Camaro’s visibility gripes, and after driving it for a few days I will say that I got used to it -- but never felt
