I think this article, your comment, the corporate shills and even the authors of this movement, miss the larger point of this idea (although they all raise a good point.): People need more support.

I get your point. It's not that you need all 500 at all times, it's just the elephant in the room - You have to sync your comics and iOS doesn't let you do this very easily. Dropbox is your best bet thus far but it's still bringing another ingredient to the party and doesn't achieve the same result.
Whoa Whoa JohnnyBurma, I know people can be mean to us vegan-ites but lest not throw the first stone. Taco Bell should be commended by the vegan and vegetarian community for being one of (I can't think of any other actually) the only fast food places that will substitute any meat and/or cheese for beans and any…
This is actually an old piece of pixel art. Amazing. But not timely. If that's not the point though, I'll just shut up.
Awesome point. I would love if this game was 8bit but I'm sure it will have a Penny Arcade Whimsy, which is good too.
Valid points. I heard that game was a bit of a wash but if they could take that principle and update it they'd have a hit on their hands.
A return to the tongue in-cheek, platforming, self-aware retelling in it's 80's-ness Mario 3 and 2 worlds would be so much fun. Especially with dialog and references ala Paper Mario for Wii
New Mario and streaming video. Kinda expected and a little bit of a letdown for the company that said games were always more important than media in their devices.
I hope this game allows you to wander across a vast board-scape where the battles take place ala Magic and the obstacles must be cleared with the execution of Super Mario 3 and the presentation of D&D.
I agree. Your point about Russell is solid and very indicative of how many hollywood directors feel about these games. Personally, I think Silent Hill and Mortal Kombat were the most true to their source material and are still enjoyable (if silly) movies.
So ... where's our current conflict(s)? Not to be a dick, but if the progression of safety in these's numbers is any predictor, the death tally would rank somewhere around 0.01 percent (1 in 5,000)

It's funny, I remember reading when the 64 was coming out everyone could only imagine how the world was going to change. I remember thinking that our games were going to get deeper and faster with techno bit-sounds and amazing Illustration art that wouldn't actually be realized until Jet Set Radio came out on the…
I know I'm not saying anything remotely new, but I think this bothers so many gamers because it's both typical and a catch 22.
thanks!
for reals yo
SFIV knocked Angry Birds off the top last night (for games) and I can't find the button to submit a news tip!
Yes. Does anybody know how to submit a tip anymore!? Angry Birds just got overtaken by SFIV and how am I supposed to get tip credit!? HOW?!
Oh dear god yes! I hate how overlooked this game is. It hasn't made any publications best iOS game of the year list (even Kotaku chose Angry Birds). Yes, it's not the console version, but it's the best portable fighter ever made! Although Bleach: Dark Souls is pretty close, if they just cut the card collecting crap…
