I’ve been pretty undecided on whether or not I think he is guilty since I first listened to the show when it came out, but what I am not unsure of is that it sounds like he did not have a fair trial and that defense attorney was not adequate. 

Yeah, it’s one of the few things we don’t think about since we never hear from her family. Lee’s “part” of this story ended, but her family has had to wade through all of this.

What will probably come out eventually is that she didn’t actually write much of it, effectively outsourcing it to a poorly paid researcher who plagiarized lots of material.
