I walk with a cane, and I *firmly* refuse wheelchairs at airports. After several hours sitting still in a metal sky-tube, the last thing I want is someone else controlling where I’m going/to be sitting down longer. And they don’t even fucking ASK!

The wheelchair thing happens all the time. My brother is blind and a really fit weight-lifter who works out every day. If he needs help at the airport, they show up with a wheelchair. A few times, they try to insist he sit in it “for liability reasons.” All he needed was a sighted guide to help him get to baggage…

Imagine showing up for work after making a suicidal statement publically, doing a presentation while pretending that you are fine and everyone ignores the problem. Then going home and killing yourself after which everyone questions why the hell your workplace didn’t do more.

Totally agree.I’m not sure how it happened-maybe they were in a movie together and the credits confused me?- but for a couple of months I thought Henry Cavill was the actor called Armie Hammer. When I figured out the truth my first thought was that AH is super bland.

Probably worth mentioning that while they heroically found the means to not pay this creep 120 million on top of the 500 million or so he’d already made, they also managed to clear themselves of any institutional liability in what must have been a very happy coincidence.
