I’ll give Shapiro credit in that he’s one of the few right wing commentators I’ve ever actually heard criticize Trump, but most of the time he engages in the same strawman arguments or whataboutism as Tucker/Hannity/etc.

Not sure that’s true. I’ve looked through a lot of his arguments, and haven’t found any that are really valid. Most are just distraction and emotional manipulation.
