May I ask what made you consider getting an EV boat and what kind you have?
I just don’t think you are going to be able to generate enough power on the fly to lift a boat. One KW of solar will net you about 1 hp, and that will take up about 70 square feet.
That means if you covered the whole top of a normal house boat with solar you still are only going to get about 7hp.
No way? Really? Nothing can be worse than an Aveo.
I still can’t believe they even made a hardtop version. It had one thing going for it, and it was literally in the name, and they took it away?
Because Jalopnik writers hate cars and think random criticism is a substitute for writing.
That hard part about taxing the super rich is that they can always just pick up there toys and leave, you and your people with higher taxes and less business. I’m not saying I’m not for just taking half of the worth of all the mega rich, but it is the unfortunate nature of that game that no one has been able to figure…
I dig it. The amount of people I know that want a wrangler “so they can take the top down and take the kits to get ice cream” so too damn high. They wont admit it, but they really just want a convertible SUV.
This is why Gas cars just aren’t viable right now. No one can afford to pay $11k every 20k miles. Till they can make it so they don’t need oil I wont buy one. /s
The Crosstour was simply way ahead of it’s time. If it came out today with a 2.0t and even more cladding it would sell like hotcakes. These raked-back crossovers the Audi, BMW and Merc sell very well even if they don’t make as much since.
I feel like I had to read between the lines in this to see how the handling was so bad. It seems like it might have been soft, but for all the words that were written I can’t get more than that.
Was the steering ratio bad, did it understeer, act unpredictably? I feel like all that would give me a bit more of an idea of…
This does remind me of my BRZ. I got a three year old 2015 with $13k miles for $20k which I still think was a really good deal. Issue was that the warranty’s were starting to expire due to age, and the drivers seat was scraped all to hell.
Still with this I don’t know. It’s 4 years old so some of the warranties might…
A Chevy Aveo 5. Somehow Daewoo made a car that was the worst of all worlds. It’s painfully slow with 103 hp, super small hatch so you aren’t cramming a lot in it, but somehow still tall and tippy like an SUV. I got the thing up on two wheels more than once. But at least the 1.6l gets good mpg right, nope! I struggled…
I get that 37 mpg is weak, but reading these comments people really need to learn the difference between city, hwy, and combined mpg. No your tuned diesel whatever doesn’t get 50+ combined or in the city.
Wonder what the towing is. That is the hybrid mavericks weakest point.
That the major issue, if these laws are in good faith, fine, whatever, I won’t put a plate frame on, tint my windows, and have a front plate. But when I watch people drive like ass hats all day every day with no cops around, and then see cops camped out at a stop sign pulling people over for tag issues I’m calling bs.…
If only it didn’t cost as much as an S3 after markups.
I never got the hype for the VW campers in the modern day. Sure it would be a fun weekend car, but not as an actual camper. These are dangerously slow, made of tinfoil and dreams, and not guaranteed to start the next morning.
Also as and someone that converted a Honda element into a camper van, being cooped up in…
Does it even have paddles. I rented one a vew years back and it didn’t even have paddles, just the, very slow, up and down shift on the stick.
Am I smoking crack here, or does that compete more with a GTI. I know a GTI is only psudo-lux, but that Integra interior look like a civic wrapped in pleather.
Throw in the fact the GTI is much more powerful and at the same base price comes with a manual I just couldn’t justify the Integra.
