No, this does not. That would only be true if the show had maintained a consistent moral tone over the entire series, and made clear that moral horrors were moral horrors regardless of who did them.

No, it doesn’t. She does some bad things, but she always has what she considers a good reason for doing those bad things. What, exactly, is her reason for burning down King’s Landing while they surrender? The bells...made her go crazy?

Even people with no taste don’t like boring movies, dude. And most of Snyder’s recent movies have been outright dull.

It’s not really about sophistication so much as adequate entertainment. Many of the Marvel movies aren’t exactly sophisticated, but at least they’re fun. Most of the DC movies under Zack’s direction are just dreary and overly serious.

I don’t get why people like this guy enough to keep giving him chances. 300 was enjoyable, but that was back in 2006. Man of Steel, BvS, Justice League, Sucker Punch, and even Watchmen just weren’t that good in my opinion.

He’s an 18 time world champion and has been a professional GO player for 24 years.  I think he’s earned his retirement.

It seems like common sense to not have to say this, but here goes anyway:

obviously there are people in 3rd world countries that are happy to do this work for $4.50/hr”

Deep Fusion in action. Shot with the telephoto, fairly well lit but completely in the shade. The only post adjustment was a little white balance fix using the new iPhone photo editing tools.

I think GoT is dead.

Honestly, none of that is particularly surprising to me, especially the part about not understanding the characters or their motivations.

Why are they riding horses?!

Possibly a more pressing question: what are you doing snooping on your partner's phone?

It is shocking that they would say it in any regard. I’m glad that I posted soI could be corrected & stop spreading misinformation.

Racism, mostly.

It was lost to Western Europe (hence, “The Dark Ages”), but in the Middle East (and places like the Byzantine Empire) it certainly wasn’t. In fact, Europe brought much of the tech (domes, round towers/walls for fortifications, etc) back from the Middle East after the crusades.

It was lost to Western Europe.  The Byzantines and others still knew how to do it.

Please tell me that this is sarcasm...

This was built a thousand years earlier in the same city. I’m sure they could have figured it out.

Typically you use a wooden scaffold to support an arch bridge during construction.
