I made this point last night. A win would have been more symbolic than anything. I think a lot of people are upset because they wanted to stick it to the GOP.

Honestly, I don’t think it would have helped. Joy Reid made a good point last night on Twitter. There are just MORE Republicans in that district and they will never vote Dem. It’s possible that Jon found ever single Dem in GA06 and got them to vote, but it still wasn’t enough to win.

My depression came when I realized last night that even sexist Republicans can get up the nerve to vote for a woman just to win an election. Which is more than the Dems were willing to do.
