The opening credits to the cartoon of Dungeons&Dragons used to freak me out. I can;t really epxlain why but i used to get fidgety and feel like there was a weight pressing down on me when the rails came off the ride and they went into another world. that idea that they could never get back. They'd done nothing wrong!

I agree there. It's quite 'fun' more than anything.

Kurt Cobain

This looked heavy handed in the trailer.

MANURE!

Peckerwood!

Keanu Reeves is $350m smarter than you.

I'd say for every Even cowgirls get the blues there is a To die for.

I agree that his latest films are a bit empty - even if he does make them look terrific. I have always found Gladiator fun in a hammy sort of way. I think that its a fine sword and sandals romp but not seriously good.

I liked Matchstick Men and a few others. But no classics.

nah. matchstick men is good. other two massively overrated.

pffffffft.

A good Ridley Scott film… I told my kids about these. They just don't believe its possible.

yeah he is an a-list scuzzball.

Robert Altman's California Split is such a great movie, really underrated. This looks like a fairly decent riff on the same dynamic.

Get the guys who did CRANK - obviously!

Line from the original: "I'm all ears…" (Dolph smirks, holding necklace of EARS!)

Really? I think Blow Out and Carlito's Way have a lot going for them. And… i know a lot of people think it's terrible… but Snake Eyes is like a weird Fever Dream. It's pop perfection.

I don't see it that way. I see it as the writers' story. Its the director and editors' film / production of that story.

yeah but its not his story, is it?
