I'm pretty sure Ellis does more eavesdropping than the entire cast of Downton Abbey.

Since you 'fessed up, I have to as well: I did the same thing. No regrets.
Call me a sap, but I was really impressed by Ivy's last song. I felt it worked in the moment, plus the piano arrangement was sweet - after some Googling I figured out it's a Carrie Underwood song, but it sounded like a Jason Robert Brown deep track.
@surelock:disqus / @avclub-43a2348027cdb8d216f4fb15fd9e1e4f:disqus Neat. I'd heard of dinner BELLS but the gong just looked so out-of-place to me in that house that I had to laugh. When it rang I expected a ninja fight.
Oh my God. Yachter Otter is wearing a WAFFLE NECKLACE:
Sherlock is easily the most fun character to watch watching crappy TV since President Bartlet. "Don't any of these people have jobs?"
The only scenario in which I would be okay with Ben punching Dave is if Dave just stands there and takes it like Andre the Giant in 'The Princess Bride' before holding Ben by the head at arm's length…
"I always hear 'punch me in the face' when you're speaking, but it's usually subtext."
…Or maybe some reruns of "Bitch Hunter".
I'll only watch if "Are You Stronger Than A Dog" follows "MILF Island".
Hey, it worked for the Muppet Babies…
Pretty sure Mike Schur said that line was an Aubrey Plaza improv, which for me puts it up there in the P&R improv Hall of Fame with "it says you could have network connectivity problems".
Yeah, I'd give it a B+ too. Loved Champion (perfect callback to Andy's use of 'you deserve to be a champion' in every song he writes) and Ben's nerd depression, but the magic just wasn't quite there tonight for me. Especially since it was all of three episodes ago that Leslie promised to stop steamrolling people…and…
When I walked in this morning and saw that the AV Club flag was at half mast, I thought, ‘All right, some terrible show ate it.’ And then I saw it was Community. Half mast is too high. Show some damned respect.
I'm a Communitarian Universalist. *boooo, paper throw*
Sufjan is definitely the master of that particular "Christmas feel" — that whole box set is perfect for road-tripping home for Christmas at night. "Hey Guys, It's Christmas Time", "That Was The Worst Christmas Ever", his arrangement of "Joy to the World", etc. They're all gold.
And your shoes into DANCE!
So…what did Ben get Leslie for Christmas? And vice-versa?
Chang.
Chang.
Chang.
Chang.
Yeah, I don't see what the big deal is either (NBC has a couple of equally-revealing clips up for Parks and Rec this week as well), but it's been established many a time that Dan Harmon is a sensitive soul who, like Britta, doesn't respond to anything appropriately.
