Dongles get lost. It has nothing to do with stupidity. You could be running out the door from a presentation and forget to detach it from the projector. Or you could be running to a presentation and leave it in the hotel.

A hundred bucks more than competing Android and Apple products? Why that sounds like a Microsoft tax! What comes around goes around.
Except Apple makes the following software for the iPad: iMovie, iPhoto, GarageBand for the creatives. Pages, Numbers and Keynote for the office people. And these are also some of the best selling software on the AppStore.
well if Apple actually gets you to spend MORE I think they won't care.
What's long before? I have original Intel MacBooks that are perfectly servicable save for the fact that Apple obsoleted them by not supporting the latest OS X.
Yeah airline check-ins via app haven't worked out all that great for me. Most of the time security people don't bother turning on the machines and sometimes they just don't work. It's been bad enough I just hit the self-checkin kiosks and pick up a paper pass instead of bothering.
What country are you in? Obesity is a a huge problem in the US and likely spreading to the rest of the western world.
Assuming it is better for us, one argument for the Paleo diet could be: now that we have all that advancement, why not go back to a diet that's more natural and easier to digest?
Wait, are they saying it's a 768 GB SSD? You guys do realize how expensive those are right? Easily half the price of the laptop itself. Why are you so surprised it'll be $4000?
I think it's more that you characterize a summer action horror sci-fi flick as some kind of high art. It's not, it's pop-art at most.
SO TRUE. So true I had to do it in all caps. That's the primary reason I started hating Lost. It's also the reason I probably will never watch a Lindelof-connected movie ever again.
Was just gonna post the same thing. It took evolution billions of years and quadrillions of iterations to do what we did in a 1-2 hundred years (counting all the research that led to this point)?
Not necessarily. Though I think a Retina display is coming, the current 15" MacBook Pro has 2 displays available, one at 1440 and the other 1680.
Because a 12-50 f1.8-4.9 lens doesn't exist for mft and if it did, it'd be a big lens. Because this is pocketable compared to the smallest ILC cameras. Because this will be seen as a compact and get into more venues than even ILC cameras.
Right, but you don't have time on your side. Once the tech is developed, there is essentially infinite time for someone or some group to keep trying to steal it.
"If there aren't time travelers walking around today, it's likely either because it's physically impossible, or because our current civilization has ended so completely by the point time travel is invented, no one even cares about us."
Sure it's possible. Except barring some radical discovery in technology or physics, it's just a few hundred or even thousand years into the future.
If you don't turn on the Twitter integration, you don't even realize it's there.
"lead nowhere, windows looking out onto walls, and 160 rooms designed to confuse and trap thousands of ghosts"
I had never really thought of it like that, but you're exactly right, it's more of an aversion to cilantro, not even just a dislike. Like as soon as I get a taste of it, my body tells me to spit out the food.
