@Andr0: The 3 bedrooms and their pocket doors reminded me of Japanese home design.

@wjbean: It goes to the basement! A basement in California! That's gotta be where half of the house cost went.

@andrew_berge: Yes, looks like pocket doors throughout.

How does Zinio have a successful subscription service while no one else can figure it out?

I wonder if you could use the magnetic field to generate a small electric current in the Tardis to make the light flash when you spin it.

Interchangeable shminterchangeable! I've got a GF1 with the 20/1.7 and haven't switched lenses in ages. Plus the cool viewfinder wouldn't work with interchangeable lenses.

@Mike Caprio: Well it's not even just a religious issue. I'm sure the religious will be up in arms but there's also a more basic philosophical question of: where do you draw the line?

@ydczzqt: Anarchica is the Spanish-speaking country of female anarchists right?

@thegamefreak0134: That's true, they're being hypocritical, but... Having the volume down button double as a mute button was supremely annoying. Glad to see this change.

@theczardictates: I think the first chart involves time travel right?

@Philip Han: Unfortunately, as long as they're still using mechanical focal plane shutters, there's still gonna be noise. And the M43rds cameras are barely quieter than my Canons.

Totally agree about fond memories and all...I remember going back to Nokia after all the flip phones and loving the almost retro-even-for-back-then candy bar style.

Why is the underexposed guy out of focus? Also I wonder what a properly exposed version looks like?

One thing I noticed on Lifehacker compared to the other Gawker sites is that it's very rare for unstarred commenters to have a comment promoted. Which is ironic because the signal to noise ratio is probably better on Lifehacker comments than other Gawker sites.

First they take away walking to school up the hill...both ways. Then the snow. Now the books? This is just gonna increase obesity.

So...this is not a fart detector then?

@DittoBox: True enough, I just wish they didn't feel so cheap, especially considering the market they're targeting. Also would it hurt to make a usable info display with shutter speed and exposure meter? That would go a long way towards making them useful.

@All_Thumbs: A Panasonic 14-140 is only 3.31" and it's got a bigger equiv range than this one.

@DittoBox: Except have you seen optical viewfinders on these prosumer P&Ss? Not much different from the consumer 35mm cameras in the 90s.
