I live in a more purple district near San Diego, and the number of retired folks donating random amounts to random Republicans like Steve Scalise, John Cornyn, and Martha McSally is mildly amazing. It’s like they phone up to donate money every time someone gets mentioned on Fox News.

I feel like if Warren could just make in roads with African Americans and Latinos, she could run away with it, but for some reason, they are sticking with Biden (possibly because they honest believe that the white people who put Trump over the top in 2016 will vote for Biden over any other democratic candidate).

Most of those candidates were clear front-runners or at the very least had only one or two serious contenders. They didn’t have to deal with the clown-car number of candidates splitting the polls this late in the game.
