Nvidia needed to get their budget card out before AMD dominate the budget market with the RX 480. That said if the 1060s are as hard to find as the 1070/1080s then it won’t be much of a competition.

Agree 100% about the power supply. Early on in my pc building days I used to buy the cheapest generic PSUs I could find until I had 2 in a row blow out frying my motherboard in the process. Lesson learned.
