I’m a PC gamer, and, no, I couldn’t really give a damn about graphics - but the interface, that’s the worst thing about a console port is the interface...because it affects gameplay far, far more than graphics. Especially in an RPG, where digging into menus is a necessity - if the menus a PITA to access on a…
Is that the one starring Keith Northerland, the star of the hit roku series Twelve?
Can’t wait for the final Call of Duty to be CoD MW3. Then Actiblizard can work on their fresh new IP. Shout of Commitment.
Okay, but where’s the pair of pants to...uh...play along....with Baldur’s Gate 3?
Wow I played EQ2 for like, 2-3 months and I don’t even remember it having voice-acting at all. Not a word. Incredible.
More like buying a brick house so you can constantly run into the walls at full speed.
I would not be shocked to hear that worldwide, FIFA tops them all.
I’d be more shocked if I hadn’t met people who were excessively proud that they “only read one book” (no points for guessing which).
Not sure if I could be more disappointed, though...
Jesus.
Source? Those companies made PS1 exclusives because it was very easy to develop for and I think the devkit was cheaper too, making it a good choice for smaller studios like Naughty Dog and Insomniac. Both those companies signed deals with Universal Interactive Studios, which was a third party at the time, so no Sony…
That was only ever the PS3, and they course-corrected. Meanwhile my household still needed to buy two Xbox 360s because of the red ring, so it’s not like MS was winning or anything.
Be quiet, Microsoft. Everything you’re accusing Sony of doing (paying studios for console exclusivity, keeping DLC exclusive to one platform over others, etc), you have also done in the past.
Except in this case they’re letting fans know it’s a curling game ahead of time. Square was pretty open about letting people know about the combat system before FF XVI released.
For whatever it’s worth, as someone who has played all of the previous FF’s to some degree except XI, and beaten most of them, I can say pretty firmly that the game feels very much like a classic FF game in everything except its combat, at least to me. Certainly more so than games like XIII and XV. I’m not someone…
I find it really disingenous how people are saying this one’s not a real Final Fantasy because it’s an action/RPG hybrid, as if one of the most acclaimed games in the series isn’t an isometric tactics game, and two of the numbered entries aren’t MMOs. Final Fantasy isn’t defined by picking your party’s attack commands…
“Everything can be only one thing forever”
If it’s a romantic comedy starting James Bond, then of course it is.
Nobody should have to convince you. It says “Final Fantasy” on the box. It’s Final Fantasy. Period. That you dislike it is irrelevant to that fact.
Blizzard has been weirdly determined to stomping down almost ANY fun the player base comes up with. Efficient farming dungeons, efficient builds. Seriously a good build will be discovered one night, and then by the next will have been hit with a precision guided nerf missile.
It’s like they’re absolutely set on making…
