I’ve seen more than a few “glad I don’t live in North Carolina” posts in the thread. You guys do realize they elected a Dem governor, right? Like, the only state to do so this cycle while other states like fucking Vermont where electing Republicans, right? And some of this as sharing this from so-believed “blue

Damn and here I thought she was reaching out specifically to an Asian American to try and learn more about the situation and how to approach it. Silly me!

I don’t have a problem with blasting someone publicly if what you’re saying is honest, but MC’s whole “can you tell them...” thing never happened, and the “I have an Asian friend” was in the context of MC telling her to use her platform to produce Asian content and TS describing an upcoming project that does just

I REALLY REALLY hate Cho. She is an asian Amy Schumer, execept even MORE unfunny

Oh god... another along those lines... “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” It’s SOOOOO awful musically and sentiment-wise.

It’s been interesting watching Twitter after the press conference. All the reporters are talking about the Russia Hacks or the fainting episode or anything but the two solid minutes where Obama lambasted them for running with the hacked email narrative for 6 months then wondering why it was such a big deal.

Can I just say that it strikes me as tone deaf that The United States expects everyone to understand our racial hang ups through the prism of our experience. I work in translation and barely a day (well sometimes a week) that I don’t have to explain my American experience with race and difference and never - NEVER -

Everything you said here is correct, but I can’t help but cringe at this stuff coming from the same guy who used his public platform to publish numerous articles last spring and summer to, essentially, depress liberal enthusiasm for our eventual nominee by pointing out all the ways in which she wasn’t a perfect

I’m still waiting for the Jill Stein supporters to explain to me how Hillary would have been just as bad.

Because, for all your good intentions, you responded to a known troll that doesn’t give a shit about your rationalizations?

fyi that Locomotive Jones is a troll

Which is torture itself. People who object to the death penalty because it is “inhumane” but get boners or ladyboners for keeping someone in a barren 5 by 8 cell for the next 50 to 70 years are kidding themselves.

Is he so mentally ill that he didn’t know he was doing something wrong when he murdered nine people in a church? Was he hallucinating and didn’t know what he was doing? No and No. His mental illness does not excuse his actions.

If my personal opinion on politics was the deciding factor in government, Hillary Clinton would be president. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way.

There is absolutely no reason it has to be black and white. People are allowed nuance in their opinions. It’s perfectly reasonable to say you don’t like how a law is typically applied, but see some clear-cut cases where you’re ok with the application. Good lord.

Recline away. That bump you feel in the middle of your back? That’s my knees. No, I don’t plan on moving them. Enjoy.

Not Booker please.

<wincing> Ooh.

Christmas shoes has to be one of the worst, most obnoxious, heinous songs ever. I was pretty intolerant of Christmas music already, then that abomination came along...
