I am a POC and a successful screenwriter/script-doctor and I write and work on movies all the time about/from the perspective of people of all races and all genders. It’s part of the fun of being a writer. And I do my job right, no one knows cares about me as an artist. They only care about the art.

She was actually a very talented artist who became the inspiration behind a generation of women that were progressive and transgressive, and who was unfortunately plagiarized by her more famous husband.
