Yeah, HBO had offered two more 10 episode seasons (our 7 and 8) and they stated money wasn’t a factor. The producers and D&D (not GRRM) are the only ones that made the decision.

And only D&D can be blamed. HBO offered two 10 episode seasons and literally stated that money was no concern. HBO knows it will go down in history for doing this right.
