This is SO important. The risks of an unhealthy person in pregancy are astronomical to both the fetus and the parent. An OB I dated ages ago was completely flabbergasted by the number of pregnant women with preventable health conditions that ultimately wound up hospitalized or worse due to risky pregnancies.

Larry tried going the mix route of Bill Maher and The Daily Show, and it was just awful. If you’re going to have a panel, that panel had better be more interesting than Municipal Roundtable on The Simpsons. There was so much about the show that kind of felt flat.

It truly is mind-boggling how people have the propensity to engage in the very behavior they condemn. I’ll admit that I read “evangelical megachurch” and immediately thought “not another one of these people”. And this right here is EXACTLY why so many allies and potential allies have just given up amd stay silent. It’s not about receiving constructive criticism, it’s when every little step is met with outright hostility.
