I’m a huge fan of the show and never wished for its cancellation, but I certainly had my doubts/questions about what it would look like going forward. I was pretty firmly in the camp that this was going to really impact the feel and writing of the show. Seeing that at this point all he’s really doing is voicing

Yep. The 18 eggs I bought today were $4 cheaper than a month or so ago.

Melanie Lynskey’s career literally started with her being an unknown cast in Heavenly Creatures because she conveyed this rare quality of being unassuming on the surface and being able to convey dark thoughts and energy underneath that

That, and gloria Allred doesn’t dump you as a client unless she knows you’re sus or probably full or shit.

The opposite is actually true - he starts his shows notoriously late, like over 90 minutes late. Journalists have lambasted him for it over decades at this point. If anything, Lourdes was EARLY.

Do you think there are intermissions in fashion shows?! Once it starts it’s like 20 mins and poof it’s over.

Actually the irony here is Marc Jacobs is NOTORIOUS for starting his shows really really fucking late. A major fashion writer (Suzy Menkes?) lambasted him for it once in her column and it was a fashion beef bloodbath for the ages.

May we please react/respond to Daily Mail “news” with a little more suspicion? Even tabloids have a hierarchy.

There are four of five articles across the Giz platform right now calling out nepo babies. It’s fucking ridiculous.

It seems petty to call her out as a “nepo baby” in the headline.   Did she steal a job from you or something?

So many people dogged on the Mou Mou episode, but it absolutely gave context to a man and a family that became juggernauts of retail/ hospitality, and Sydney's story was also compelling. In a way, he.was another "rose from nothing" figure, as many folks don't get that these valets and such are EXTREMELY well

Awesome. I mean, sure, AOC no longer has much to say about Medicare For All, stopping deportations, Green New Deal, minimum wage, or any of the other progressive policies she championed as a candidate in 2018, but when there’s an opportunity to deliver an angry accusation of racism against Republicans, she is there

not for straight white dudes, maybe.

C. Robert Cargill would like to have a word with you, Seth.

This presupposes that Superbad is, in fact, a good high school movie.  I think that’s open for debate.

I think you are also way overgeneralizing based on your own POV. That isn’t remotely true, especially when “everyone” isn’t white boys.

Lady Bird.

Low bar for “good” there.

Booksmart was really good.

Superbad is just that.  Super bad.
