Too bad everyone “kind of forgot” about the sweet LED lighting in the Painted Table in the original series.

I mean, you answered your own question. We don’t HAVE to live in that world, but we DO. I’d also love to live in a world where motorists respect pedestrian traffic, but that doesn’t stop me from looking both ways before I cross the road.

That, and the irony where this very site posted a 10k bounty for unretpuched photos of Lena Dunham (which is the only time I’ll defend Lena Dunham). Not because the photos were obviously shopped like the Faith Hill Redbook shoot that made Jez famous, but because apparently Lena was too fat and ugly to look that good

It may have been that the owner moved. When Caribou first started they prided themselves on being owned by a close-knit group. One family member moved to DC, and that was the only reason they opened any stores there.

This site GLEEFULLY participated in that shit. They also pitted Lawrence against Hathaway because “OMG she talked about vibrators!”

In our world it was Bonanza, which I believe is the same company as Ponderosa. And we definitely went for the salad bar- I can't remember when anyone we were with ordered anything other than that unless it was Lent and they were getting fried shrimp.

People are also acting as if their local hipster joint doesn’t use the same suppliers and prep. They DO. That BIX tomato is the same tomato when the Margherita pizza is $12 as when it’s $16. That turtle bar is the same Sweet Street turtle bar at Joey Q Coffee Shop as it is a chain restaurant or in a catering setting. A

Worked at a Capital Grille for six years, so I have a little sentimental blind spot for them despite the price. It was actually a spinoff of a seafood restaurant in Providence and for years the dirty secret was that you could get the same cut prepared the same way for $20 less (plus a salad/ soup and side) at the

Tyrion defended Kings Landing from an invading army (that he brutally killed with the same cursed fire he later used as a talking point for Targaryen madness); defending it was an exercise in self preservation. Where did he pontificate about saving the smallfolk of KL? He didn’t. His deed was as one army against

Forced before he was ready? Absolutely. He was propositioned with a 12 year old, and a 15 year old just happened to be goaded by her father to “befriend” the grieving king. Viserys would have been expected to marry at some point- choosing Alicent was his way of saying “at least I know her.”

Tried it; there’s a textural issue with the crumbles in anything where it feels like eating rubber. The burgers, nuggets, etc at least are bold in what they are so you can prepare to the taste. The crumbles always felt like if Subway buns actually were yoga mats.

Rhaenys’s motivation is clear as day, and she lays it out painfully literally earlier in the episode. This is a woman, a warrior and a dragonrider that in a just world would have inherited the rule she was far more fit to have than her cousin.

I think Paddy put it best when he said that when Aemma died, so did Viserys. His illness was a lifelong penance walk for how she died, and he was essentially forced into his second marriage. He got his sons, but at the cost of losing one of the only two people he ever loved and of alienating the other.

That’s why I particularly liked episodes 3, 4, 7, and last week’s episode. So far, they’ve been the better examples of pacing when the show slows down when it needs to. Particularly, Laena’s funeral party and everything after it was perfect- it really captured the awkwardness of this dysfunctional family being forced

Agreed, I'm confused about all the Rings of Power, Walking Dead and She-Hulk reviews as well.

Not really.

Eve Best is such a wonderful actress and while she’s been great all season, I’ve been praying for her to have a pre-Rook’s Rest badass moment and BAM there it was.

Helena Bonham Carter was also pregnant during the filming of Half Blood Prince- it’s pretty easy to spot in retrospect. Ironically, Helen McCrory turned down the role of Bellatrix because she was pregnant when they would have filmed Order of the Phoenix.

Not only that, but Leach was dead wrong regarding the volume of television targeted to that demographic at that time.

I think I beat Fire Giant the first time before a patch came through- I had him rotted before he transformed and the rot carried over so when he executed his opening move he lost over half of his remaining health and fell in two shots.
