I always read Bert and Ernie as an Oscar and Felix dynamic, and if anything, an Avenue Q dynamic where Ernie is straight and Bert is gay.

It’s surprising that people get all snarky about this: Cleaning is considered a sacred ritual to process change in many cultures and religions- Shinto, for example. That cleaning is cathartic and practical to boot.
As another elderly Millennial, it's Captain Lou Albano or bust, paisanos!
And not for nothing, there isn’t a significant difference between the 17 he was and the 19 he is; it’s not a leap of logic to say that a teenager that cheated the entirety through their teenage years is... still cheating through their teenage years.
I remember when a kid came into school one day and said he got promoted from dishwashing to making salads at a local restaurant. Dude was making $12 an hour in the suburban Upper Midwest in 2001. He was a freaking hero to us.
So you're saying that you participate in the same "read the snippet, not the source" behavior you regularly chastise others for? Cool. The self-reflection is a great step forward.
Rich, of Pot Psychology. Rich, who is only here because Slut Machine aka Tracie Egan gave him a platform. Tracie “too smart to be raped” Egan. Tracie “it’s okay when I fuck around but I’m like a mom and wife now so fuck those sluts” Egan.
Not for nothing, but the homeless addicts in the city I used to live in were FAR more reliable in an instance with safety than a cop.
I was wondering if I’d imagined this: Subway was a staple in middle and high school when we had all day dress rehearsals and had to fend for ourselves for lunch- the chicken breast was definitely not what I’ve seen in image searches, though it was still hot held in a bit of water/ broth. In our area, it was the only…
The awkwardness of that funeral party was excellent: There’s so much tension in the air, and the quiet character beats-especially with the child characters- set up some key future relationship dynamics. That slow setup made the latter explosions SO much more satisfying- the powderkeg finally went off, and IMHO the…
My gathering was that it was more a favor to Rhaenrya than to Leana. Rhaenrya tells Daemon more than once in the episode that Laenor is a good man, and she definitely gives off a sense that at least one person in this mess can be happy. While he didn’t dislike Laena and even admits they were “happy enough”- in the…
Spoiler:
Yeah, I see Mulaney as less of a “Wife Guy” and more “vocally childfree.” Him cheating wasn’t the shocker; it was that a guy that centered a significant amount of his material around not wanting kids immediately knocked up a C-lister and 180ed into “family man” seemingly overnight.
Remember all the Bernie Bros that TOTALLY would have voted for Warren in 2016? And then when they had the opportunity to vote for her in 2020, trashed her endlessly instead?
I mean, “younger millennials” are pushing 30, so they’re not really the target demo here (but as an “elder millennial”, I could also just be salty that so much of this hot nonsense is incorrectly attributed to my generation).
Worked as a host and bartender at a fine dining seafood/ oyster bar for 6 years- the number of parents that came in with screaming kids and got angry when we had to explain why the seafood restaurant didn’t have chicken nuggets or booster seats was staggering. We often had folks rent out the back room for events as…
Not really. If he were 600 lbs, talented, and able to function for a 14 hour shoot, then he can bloviate about waiting until the end of time.
Maybe you’re chronically single because your shitty attitude seeps through every single thing you say and do- you ever stop to think about that?
Sugar and corn syrup aren't the same, which you'd know if you ever made one sauce from scratch. Sugar is needed to balance acidity- not a ton, but enough to temper the ingredients. I would hope you know there’s a difference between a Little Debbie snack cake and the sugar you add to bake challah, for example.
Shh, we have to bloviate about a shelf stable product having completely predictable ingredients! How ever will I display my rudimentary knowledge of cooking if I don’t sit and cry about devil ingredients sugar and salt?
