I just finished the Secret History (I saw this last month and my attention span this summer sucks so it took me forever). And it definitely reminded me of the Magicians books in tone (I gave up on the show somewhere in season 2). Outsider, belonging, eccentric group, etc.

But then Twitter would not exist :)

That’s not fair....sometimes during the day they also show Parks and Rec.

I think there are more secret Trump voters this time around. People who know their friends/family/coworkers think he is horrible, so that person will vote for him, but doesn’t talk about it.

Yes, there were a lot of “what does that mean? What is happening?” Tweets, but I guess that is good, right? People who didn’t care before are now so upset by what is going on they are taking a bigger interest.

I feel like after the AOC seconding (because procedure) this was the 2nd most misunderstood moment.  Historically the home state always passes for both parties so they can either be the last or the ones that gives the winning votes. People on Twitter were losing it.

Someone I know tweeted -the best ticket is Obama/Biden- but this time with Michelle and Jill.

I highly recommend the second season of the Dream Podcast.  It was all about supplements and health cures.  It is so sad their is so much quackery going on today and it is scary how unregulated they are.

I hate her, but I think she means the Hamptons. Most people I know call anything passed Riverhead “out east.”

My truffle salt source (and all my fun salts source) is closing. It was the Filling Station in Chelsea Market and I can’t tell if it is just them moving or if covid hurt their business and that is why they are closed. So I need a new source of truffle salt if anyone has.

Same!

The Vietnam one was on Netflix right before the pandemic.  I watched it in late February.

This my favorite too. I like just putting it in olive oil or I add to sabra or other pre-made hummus to up the flavor.

Back when we still worked in our office, every special occasion was celebrate with either a cannoli cake or a rainbow cookie cake from our local Italian bakery.  And they also make the best american style cheese cake. Weirdly, I have never had their Italian cheesecake.

Same thing just happened to me with Wheat Thins - I did not mean to get the sundried tomato flavor, I just wanted to a plain cracker.

My great grandmother was one of 6, but there were big age gaps so my grandmother and her uncle were only a couple of years apart. I was very confused about how my grandma and her uncle where the same age when I was a kid.

That was my thought too -- these are all major events, she’s showing the lines of the dresses.

And it’s still not available last I checked on my fire stick or my Roku, which is annoying me because I am trying to marathon search party and then watch the new season.  Not fun to watch on my phone.

Yes - I was about to reply the same! I got from a place toward the back wall and it was amazing - way better than a cheesesteak (plus I get judged for that anyway because I ask for provolone when we do get cheesesteaks because I don’t like cheese sauce)

Mine is the box of 250 #10 envelopes I went back for at the beginning of the quarantine. I did the mailing but the box is the perfect height to get a nice angle when I zoom.
