What if I just want a heads up for if a movie is any good for when it eventually comes to VOD?

I don’t see any issue with AV Club reviewing VOD releases, because the reviewer and the customer are on equal grounds there, safety-wise. I do object to them reviewing theatrical releases (so long as the reviewer is safe) that the general public can’t safely attend because the effect of publishing that review now…

I think this is the right call for this movie, but that AV Club is making the wrong call for movie reviews generally.
