Fedora comes from the French "Fédora", a drama written by the Victorien Sardou. Thus the plural is not fedoræ but fedoras.

It's on the same level as Inglourious Basterds' King Kong/slavery comparison.

Argo somewhat upset me too because even though I caught it just before the awards ceremony (so I was well aware just what kind of movie it was), the introduction definitely promises a much deeper, more comprehensive look at the hostage crisis. There's some great stuff in that movie, and it really isn't a bad movie,

You didn't think the ending ultimately focused more on Walt/Jesse/Skyler/etc. than the token skinheads? I agree that they were stock antagonists, but I don't think the show shirked on continuing the story of those good, established characters.
