I don't think that's entirely accurate. At the very least, he does seem to have picked up some serious business acumen over the seasons.

Or, just maybe, people had a different perception of this season than you did? I really don't have a problem with you not liking this season, but I think it's insulting to claim the only reason other people liked it is because they're "Community die-hards".

Why can't it be bad because of both reasons? I think it's inherently distasteful to suggest that the innocent victims of mass hysteria were secretly guilty of the charges levied against them.

This is ridiculous. If someone actually reads Inglourious Basterds as a historical document and doesn't know that that's not how the war actually ended, that's on them, not on Tarantino.

In America, this is generally the case. From what I understand, this isn't always true in other countries; for example, most animes apparently animate first and dub later (to my knowledge, at least).

*Kirsten Dunst

Ron Swanson would approve.

Oh, totally, I wasn't trying to argue against your point, just saying there's a lot to be upset about in US politics. And you're definitely right about the House. That's due to another structural inefficiency, I'd say; we definitely shouldn't allow parties to draw electoral districts. Especially in an era where…

Well, and structural inefficiencies like the Senate that are based on compromises people had to make hundreds of years ago that don't really make sense in modern America but that we're stuck with since god forbid we ever try to change anything about our clearly perfect governmental system…

Haha, thanks! You're not too bad looking yourself *flirtatious wink*.

Here ya go: [REDACTED]

I really should get around to answering these before two days have passed, haha. Just, as a general rule, I'd suggest you don't agree to help your parents with their taxes.

Eh, I liked this gimmick more when it was Family Circus and Nietzsche quotes.

I think buzz about True Detective helped, too, since that was going on around the same time that Academy voters did their voting. "Oh yeah, McConaughey's doing good shit now. Guess we should give him an Oscar."

And a lot of the biggest proponents are computer scientists, whose predictions about the development of and qualities of AI have been notoriously unreliable.

Upvoted for accurate pedantry. You even correctly identified subjunctive as a mood!

Totally agreed. Especially since he's basically upset at people for their imagined reactions to the death of a fictional psychopath who he admits is one of the most reviled characters on TV today.

I think it's a bit of both. But I think there's definitely some chastising in there, especially when he calls out schadenfreude.

It reminds me of the people who got all sanctimonious when people were happy Osama Bin Laden was dead. "Sure, he killed three thousand innocent people in one of the most horrifying acts of terrorism, but we shouldn't be celebrating his death!" Fuck you, I'm happy he's dead and I don't care who knows it!
