Just to clarity; a DUI is not a “minor crime”. Let’s not reframe that; considering what a battle it was/is to get drunk drivers off the road killing people. Misdemeanor or not, you’re kind of a dick if you’re driving around under the influence. Get a fucking Uber.

That actually seems pretty normal, as taking the child out of the country is the most common method parents use to get around loss of custody, shared custody, restraining orders, and the like. You just pick the kid you’ve been abusing up from school and drive to the airport.
