Super Bowl bound Bears? Isn’t that like, an oxymoron?

Do people really give a shit about NBA on Christmas? Of all the sports leagues attempts to take over holidays I find this one to be the one that makes the least sense.

He’s not comparing. No one is downplaying your precious little rivalry, relax.

I wish I had a witty retort but I got Zips.

Unlike the prom queen from my high school, getting fat did not make him humble.

Kiffin’s a douche but this reminds me of when Lou Holtz was an assistant at OSU and late in a game against Michigan OSU scored a TD to go up by like 30 and Woody Hayes wanted to go for 2. Holtz asked him why they were going for 2 and he responded “because we can’t go for 3".

As the owner of a two S-Corps, both small businesses, this has a drastic effect on how owners of such corporations make decisions. There have been times where the choice was “hire more people or pay the tax”. Well, you don’t have an option - so you always pay the tax.

Since 95% of all US businesses qualify, this will

Obviously this provision looks biased toward specific people in government, but how many of the “...sole proprietorships, partnerships, and S-corporations. About 95% of businesses in the U.S...” will also benefit from this provision? If they all do, then isn’t that really benefiting whose who are intended to benefit?

Lots of snark in the replies, but I will add one thing. If you’re someone who works a lot better when people aren’t bothering you, the last two weeks of the year are great for getting stuff done. I preferred to take my time off in the spring and summer.

So you blather on and on about how crappy and unsafe US rail is, only to cite a European crash that killed more people?

79 people died in Spain in 2013 from a derailment caused by driver error. That one must have slipped your mind.

Yes. The Japanese national source of pride gets a lot more money spent it. Now get back to cleaning up the nuclear plant that was blown to smithereens.

“What I don’t know is what the speed limit that the railroad had imposed on the track [at the curve],”

Something tells me his parachute has better severance and benefits than the 150 people who got laid off couple of weeks back.

This is quite a shock, since there has been virtually no substance at ESPN for many years now.

“Looking back, maybe naming it Outside The Lines was a little too on the nose.”

Maybe it’s just because this has been such an absolute shitshow of a year, but something tells me that there’s a bigger reason behind his leaving and that coming out first with admission of substance addiction will lay the groundwork for a future excuse when past behavior gets brought up.

I'm a picky eater. I'm trying to be more adventurous and grow as a person or whatever, but there's not much i hate more than a stuck up foodie - people who think they're better than someone else because of what they're willing to put into their mouths. Who gives a fuck.

All you really need to do is look at which foods picky eaters gravitate toward. Just about every time it's going to be french fries or chicken fingers and other super unintimidating stuff that they were raised on. You don't see many four hundred pound shutins who will only eat a Thai curry or something spicy like

Um… What? This is a non-issue, and comes off like a snobby crusade to prove you're a better parent than anyone who might go to a restaurant as an occasional treat, where they specifically *don't* have to force their kid to eat something "healthy."
