My understanding of it is very cursory, but from what I understand, a sub/dom relationship is the very definition of, "demanding one kind of behavior from the object of one's desire and another completely different kind of behavior from oneself." I don't get it, it's not for me, I can't even comment on whether or not

I've long ago resigned myself to the fact that kinks that aren't my kinks aren't going to make sense to me. It would just be easier if we all talked about this preference as if it were a kink instead of something somehow more profound.

If you're shopping around, I've been quite happy with dorco. I've been using their 3 blade system for awhile and found it comparable with the Mach 3 I used to use, except in price. Also, once you order from them they occasionally send you further discounts, increasing the price differential even further.

I'm in the tail end of the tail end of Gen X, but I've always been annoyed by Gen X's pretense of disaffected cynicism. While Millennials seem to avoid the whole disaffected shtick, it's a little heart breaking to watch the cynicism set in.

There are a variety of flavors of crazy; sometimes you get multiple kinds in the same package!

My guess is the prosecutor's crazy wouldn't have fixated on Knox had she not been attractive.

I'm amused that everyone is referencing her to The Tudors, but every time I see her I always think, "That's the girl who sexually harassed Captain America!"

That can be generalized to damn near any group, Jezebel is no worse than the rest of humanity in that regard - confirmation bias is what we do.

A face made for radio, if ever there was one.

If the effect hasn't been demonstrated in women it would be a mistake to say "people are less likely to display a bias", as that stretches the conclusion way to far. As it is I wonder if the researchers made too broad a conclusion based on (what sounds like from the article) a rather limited study.

I'm not clear why the justification is super-weak, if the statement is based on a well founded, reviewed, and published behavioral experiment. Can you expound on your objection?

Which is rather hilarious considering all Scotsmen wore pants before the 16th century, and even then the kilt was a symbol of poverty. It went from a symbol of contempt to a symbol of national pride.

Haven't we reached a place where your job depends on every portion of the application process? Is there a portion where I can safely slack and not get forwarded right to the circular file?

Isn't this somewhat inevitable, considering humans seem to be Koinophiles?

Would it defeat the purpose to chuck the key into a battery drill and wind up the toy that way?

I see the point, but I'm still not completely convinced. The article uses the phrase, "Migrant workers residing unlawfully in the U.S. " "Unlawful resident" and "illegal immigrant" seems like a distinction without a difference.

The evidence he cheated on Anne is somewhat scant, and would have been rather risky for such a high profile Catholic in Protestant England.

Fun theory on that: it might have been a private joke between William and Anne.

William's father-in-law had two valuable antique beds that he willed to his daughters, specifically excluding his daughters' husbands. Therefore William couldn't will his best bed to Anne, because he didn't own his best bed, his wife did.

I'm curious if the board members can be sued for needlessly causing a valuable women's health clinic to be closed.
