The BSA is affiliated with the World Scouting Organization, but the BSA's position on sexuality and refusal to let girls participate is inconsistent with the WSO's positions. For these reasons the USA will never host a world scouting jamboree. We're welcome to come to world jamborees, but never host.

I've often wished the World Scouting Organization would set up a Scouting America presence in the States. The BSA can keep serving the LDS church, and the States can have a real Scouting program.
