This sketch was so ridiculously DEAD-ON! If it weren’t so funny it would be sad. How many decades do we have to wait for a Wonder Woman movie??

Women do have the ability to enjoy The Avengers and X Men and every other “superhero” flick, but we don’t exactly have a lot of choices. If we want to see a superhero movie it

Lord but let there be many, many more.

I would like to see this. Just judging by their reaction when they realized they were being filmed, I doubt they could even make a noise. And interestingly, they had no problem partying with Waka Flocka. Great to hear the OU President told all members to GTFO his campus, and their Greek letters already removed from

I was also an SAE in college. I didn't last long after my pledge semester. I wasn't at all surprised by the racism in the video.

I for one can't think of a better way to frame your anti-bigotry message than "Fuck all you bitches."

I pledged SAE in college b/c after just playing sports in high school I had no fucking clue about life. I was drawn to their True Gentleman creed and thought "Man, that's how I try to act so I'll join these guys."

Holy lord I just looked at that whole list.

I'm hoping that there's no follow-up story about the twitter outrage put on by fans of these teams, threatening to leave the fold or just making vile statements about LGBTQ because of this. A man can hope.

I remember he had an incredible arm as well. I was at an Indians game with my dad in 05' or 06 and as we are leaving Vlad ran down a bouncing ball heading towards the right field fence right in front of us. Vlad collects it at the warning track, "cro-hops?", and launches it towards home on the fly. He threw out Casey

Not just hit anything, but hit anything well. He would go after pitches most would not, but he was far from an undisciplined free swinger, with a career slash line of .319/.379/.553, with a BB:K ratio not too far from 1:1 (and under 1,000 Ks for his career). His swing had more coverage than just about anyone and still

The Angels TV crew (I'm sure they're not the only ones, but that's where I heard it) used to describe his strike zone as "nose to toes."

Turns out that ol' Billy's message on his bat was for Cal after all.

This was so good and so fucking disturbing. Shame on me for being guilty of the same willful ignorance this article exposes. I hope to god Dan Rafael reads it.

Hey man, I'm not here to defend what Chico did, or say the way he acted at other times makes up for it. It doesn't. Floyd was absolutely right to call him on it.

I am a Mayweather fan and knew he had a checkered past but never really looked into it. If I did consider his past action I just always attributed it to the rough upbringing and the fact he lives larger than life so attitudes like that are expected. But this article did a great job outlining the horrible altercations

Good point. The blurring of the lines between the two things is probably what enables a glossing over of everything ,once an athlete is deemed as "likeable" by the media. Criminal behavior becomes reduced to a minor character flaw/quirk...sort like that whole line of "boys being boys".

Wow, this is excellent.

Property has three basic characteristics: It can be purchased; it can be controlled by its owner; and it can be disposed of when it is no longer needed

Long-time reader of your stuff Mike, first time ever commenting on it, but a fantastic read as always. Thank you for putting in the effort into this story that you have, and it's a wealth of information, as I had no idea about this side of Floyd Mayweather due to not exactly following boxing very closely.
