Good luck! I'm on New Game +3, and have yet to successfully beat O+S on my own. I always have to rely on summoned players. I can handle every other boss, but can't even get halfway through the O+S fight.

Oh! Also playing Guacamelee on Wii U after getting it in the Nindie bundle. This game is really fun. I love how it presents the exploration and progression of a Metroid game but in a light way. Fights can be challenging sometimes but you never lose more than a minute or two of progress.
In light of recent announcements, I think I might give this game Fallout: New Vegas a try… any tips for a first-time player? I've played the first Fallout, and a few hours of Fallout 3 years ago (liked it but lost xbox access long enough to forget what I was doing).
Get oot!
Touche!
Mass murder is not frequently used as a cheap plot device to motivate male protagonists.
I'm a Fusion supporter as well. SA-X is terrifying. And it's terrifying precisely because it plays off your knowledge of the typical Metroid skill progression. You know exactly how fast and powerful it is because you've felt the thrill of that mastery in past Metroid games. If the names were changed and it wasn't a…
While I'm completely opposed to video game movie adaptations, Anna Torv is a perfect choice. Now I'm only mostly opposed!
Easy as fuck? The SA-X fight gave me more trouble than probably any other final boss in a Metroid game. Maybe it was just playing on a handheld that made it harder.
I was terrified at first, and then sad. Those pitiful wails. He's just trying to defend his weird lava house or whatever, and this heavily armed metal alien comes in and starts with the super missiles. It really underscores the game's sense that this is an alien environment and you don't belong there.
Good call on Dark Souls. I love that the environment is so treacherous. You have to watch your step all the time, whether it's the poison in Blighttown or the lava in Norfair.
As if I needed one more reason to go to Monkey Town!
All I remember of Spanglish is that delicious looking sandwich. I want it!
I'm partial to the Enertron. "But you're still hungry."
Chancellor the rapper, please say the rapper!
That's true, leaving the vault is well done. You really feel both the liberation of getting out and the apprehension of, well, being alone in a post-nuclear wasteland.
This weekend! I am working on Dark Souls NG+2. I may never play anything else!
When I was a kid the idea of a huge open-world game was incredible and mind-blowing. I was replaying SNES JRPGs over and over, literally knowing every single treasure chest and hidden item by memory, so a game that could promise that same thrill of discovery and exploration over and over would be that much better,…
Sweeeeet. I've been "farming" titanite slabs from Darkwraiths in New Londo — if a drop rate of one every 4 or 5 hours counts as farming!
I'm ready to finish this NG+ run of Dark Souls but I'm working on the Oolacile DLC first — I completely missed it the first time around. I beat Artorias after many, many tries (and many very narrow defeats)… not sure whether I'll even attempt Kalameet!
