I started A:DD a few months ago and had to take a break that became permanent. Too scary! Although I haven't played a lot of horror games.

I hate leaving a game unfinished, but I'm just too dumb to finish The Swapper or The Bridge, the two games I tried playing this week. So, I'm getting back into Final Fantasy XII. I'm 28 hours in, and I'm loving it, but the problem (and this is what makes me keep putting it down for weeks or months) is that I'm always

Mm, I could really go for some eggs now.

All right, you've convinced me, time to dig out the PS1 and revisit this thing… maybe I'll play some Chocobo's Dungeon while I'm at it!

Yeah, it's a game that I think I would really enjoy if I put some time into it, but the early stages (of each playthrough and of learning the game in general) are so dull. I didn't uninstall it, though, so we'll see…

Ah, the good old days, when you could buy any FF-branded title and be assured that at the very least it would be halfway decent and cute…

Spec Ops: The Line is pretty much my favorite version of Heart of Darkness. I don't think it's spoilery to say that since you've already pinned down the Apocalypse Now vibe. It goes to some pretty dark places, so enjoy!

I need to harness the power of my children more. My problem is that my son and I both prefer Toad!

I am listlessly flitting too! At this stage in my life I need something I can play while also watching TV, which limits my choices somewhat.

Same here (with the exception of Mario Kart-style racing games. Anyone remember Chocobo Racing for Playstation?)

I'm kind of in between games. I was really into The Swapper, until I got to the point where every available puzzle is too hard for me. I've also been playing Defender's Quest a lot, and it's great, but I'm near the end of New Game+ and it's getting really grindy, so I think I'm done there too. Tried Don't Starve but

Hey, you can do a lot of wacky stuff with young children around!

To me he's the guy who interviewed for the job in that one episode of Parks & Rec?

I can't fathom why you'd open a meeting with a benediction either. You open them with an invocation!

I once got "racially biased SAT questions" for that same question. Pretty good!

My takeaway: what do I need to do to turn my organization into a "super"-organization?

As someone who has purchased the first Plants Vs. Zombies on… 4? different platforms, I really really hope that PVZ2 comes to PC or console someday so I can play it.

Link's Awakening is my favorite too! I haven't played Majora's Mask and a couple of the other handhelds though.

I wanna hear more about this "nintendo lifers forum." I already belong to one Nintendo lifers forum, which is just me and my sister emailing each other.

Aw man, I wanted to comment just to say that the "faith, peace, and justice minor" line was really funny. But it looks like this comment section's just for fightin' :(
