Yeah, seeing that “25th Anniversary” thing made me feel old at lightning speed! I still love listening to Exile in Guyville and whitechocolatespaceegg, along with some PJ Harvey, and Sam Phillips. Glad she’s back making music.

I’m adopted and have considered doing this as well. I appreciate reading everyone’s experiences.

Best television news I’ve heard in some time. LOVE Chewing Gum! Her brief appearance in TLJ was a nice treat too.

The dedication made me cry more than it should have.

Ugly crying through TLJ is also my plan, as well as some Leia hairstyle. Not emotionally prepared for it. I’ll keep eyes peeled for Space Gary.

Happy birthday, Jezebel! For both your content and commenters, I’m glad you’re here.

As a Tennessean, I can tell you that she is the worst. It pains me that she will likely win and continue to espouse her insanity on a larger scale.

Ok, I’m here for this, and look forward to watching it. I’m also still sad he is gone.

It makes me happy to see east Tennesseans represented here, in comments and in the lovely composition.

I saw it my freshman year, so I can commiserate. I’m old, and I rewound the volleyball many times.

So disappointed. I legit wanted to see what they characters got up to next. Cheers to her, though. Great show, and I’ll look for what she does next.

At this point, I don’t think I’ll ever be done. I am, however, finding new levels of appreciation for both her and Billie.

This is my new baby, Francesca, or Little Kitty Princess Murder Muffin for short.

Just seeing the reminder that this movie exists has made my night better! Loved it!

Our boys grew up with HP, but it’s a bit of a head trip realizing it’s been 20 years! The books and movies have their flaws, but the memories we made connected to the series-waiting at the bookstore for a new book, putting together HP Lego sets or games, and watching our kids grow up alongside Harry, are priceless.

Ravenclaw with Polecat patronus. Sigh.

“We know how. When you become a mom, you are imbued with the power of shamelessness. That may lead to embarrassment for your offspring from time-to-time, but the rewards for you are great.”

Been in recovery for anorexia for a long time, but struggle with body image/dysmorphia (among all the other cormorbid shit). I want this thing to be good. I really do. I want to be able to view it in empathy rather than seeking inspiration. We shall see.

I feel odd knowing this, like it’s not mine to know, even though she was always open about her issues. And I also still miss her vibrant presence in this world a great deal.

Thank you for this story. I wouldn’t have known this happened had you not told it, and the strength of these resolute warrior women needs to be heralded. I’m inspired by their resolve and love in the face of hatred.
