I gotta be honest, I see nothing wrong with what your mom did there. It doesn't look like an active guilt trip, and ONLY to Jewish eyes does it even read as an active guilt trip. Otherwise it just looks like she wanted to let them know she was supporting them, and they were like, "Awesome! Let's reward the nice lady!"

Correct use of apostrophes enhances the beauty of the world.

Now see, I re watched Four Weddings recently and didn't enjoy as much as I did in the past. I thought Andie MacDowell's character was kind of a jerk.

I was going to say... if she's supposed to be 7 months pregnant in those photos.... I'm 17 months pregnant.

People voluntarily watch movies with commercials? I don't.

Or, given recent super awkward events, maybe her internal debate was more: "Laurence Fishburne? Sam Jackson? Dammit, Vicky, don't guess the wrong black guy, don't guess the wrong black guy..."

Yeah, well, was the body's butt showing? Because that would be gross.

Trying to form an opinion on this, but having trouble since this didn't take place in Florida and is thus ineligible for a Bugs Bunny gif .

Has anyone reached his black best friend for a comment?

Does the hypocrisy of conservatives likewise astound you?

There is no statute of limitations on sibling crimes. My mom is 56 and still guilts her brothers about shit they did when she was 5.

Gah. My daughter had hamsters- one of them was pregnant when she got her and we did not know. There we are marveling at this little pile of surprise, naked babies when the momma nonchalantly starts shoving them in her mouth like ugly gummy bears.

That's how having a sibling works. It's like getting an extra memory. Any time you forget something stupid you did, they're right there to remind you.

It never will. My sister and I recently had an argument about the time she pushed me off of a slip-n-slide when I was 9ish and she was 5ish. I just turned 31.

Ha, I spend all my time silently judging everyone for every error, EVER.

I'd like to see the pro-lifers swarming the clinics in Massachusetts come out and terrorize this guy for LEGITIMATELY killing his baby, and let him know there were much better options like adoption, and that he is most definitely going to rot in hell. I think those "cuddly grandma's" could better use their time

Amen. I just finished babysitting my cool as shit nephews. My sister worries that they are "escalating behaviorally" but I just think they're rough and curious farm boys, growing up. They were just lovely. One cut the lawn and painted a picture. The other played bocce ball with the elderly neighbor and helped me clean

Somehow her being in on it makes the story (not the actions themselves, obviously) less horrible (though no less evil) to me. Can you imagine the pain of knowing your husband maliciously murdered your child? I'm slightly more comfortable knowing that in this case there's no innocent parent suffering.

I'm lying in bed right now next to my 7-year-old grandson...he's playing Plants vs Zombies and unsuccessfully warding off my hugs & kisses. He won't last more than another minute or two but I'm getting in all I can before he books. The 3-year-old's next.
