Jesus tap-dancing christ. I've been having a lovely experience with online dating so far but these stories are making me terrified to ever speak to anyone again. . .online or off.
Personally I've felt my job get more stressful the more I call the shots. Making decisions about hiring and firing ain't doing anything good for my blood pressure, not to mention the overall feeling that nobody can tell me what to do but it'll be entirely my fault if it's not done right.
On a more positive note: Best karaoke song ever is "Summer Girls" by LFO (yknow, the "I like girls that wear Abercrombie and Fitch" song). Everyone remembers the chorus but not that it contains insane lyrics such as "I like the color purple, macaroni and cheese, ruby red slippers and a bunch of trees!"
I know I would have HATED an all-girls school. Some of my best friendships as a young kid were with boys, and well. . . boys are the best! A life without boys in it everyday would be depressing for me.
I think I need a remedial course for this one. I had a dinner party last night and invited more people than I had forks. They seemed entertained to be eating mac'n'cheese with a fondue fork, though.

Stewed prunes, weak cocoa and chicken liver? I think I'd be pretty thin on that diet because I'd puke after every meal but lunch.
I was at one of these in Cleveland! The people that won spent $10,000 making an exact replica of the Wright brothers plane and still only made it like 50 feet. One group had a big chicken that well, flew about as far as a chicken can. Prettymuch everyone just plummeted directly into the sea. It was a grand event.
